Mission: Fly Fishers of Men (FFOM) is directly affiliated with Hope Community Church and was founded solely on the premise of introducing young men, between the ages of 13-18, to our one true, loving, and living heavenly Father. Throughout the second weekend in June, via times of devotion, prayer, and fellowship, participants will learn how different characteristics and behaviors of vertebrates, invertebrates, plants, and other animals that impact the realm of fly fishing, tie directly to God's word and his divine creation. Throughout the three day event, FFOM provides food, sleeping accommodations, fly fishing instruction, and most importantly the gospel to six campers, and six Godly male mentors (FBI clearances mandatory). This experience takes place at Charlie Parson's camp (Pappy's Camp), near Glen Iron Pennsylvania, and can be broken down into the following agenda; FFOM AGENDA
If Fly Fishers for Men sounds like a ministry you would like to serve, you can do so by donating food, fly fishing gear and tackle or by providing financial support. Here you will find a list of fly fishing gear, food, and other necessary supplies for such an event to take place. And if you are unable to do either but still are interested in helping, the best way to support this ministry is through prayer!!!! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about FFOM at Pappy's Camp and if you have any questions about this experience or are interested in supporting this ministry in anyway, please contact Bryce Snyder at the Contact link found above.
